The 2016 PLWP Open Writing Marathon, held on April 8, brought teachers and community members together to write in colorful spots in Saint Joseph such as the Cafe Pony Espresso, the Downtown St. Joseph Library, and Bourbon Street.  Then, in the fall, writers participated in the course ENG/EDU 502: Professional Learning Communities--Writing Marathons and wrote at several more stops.

The 2015 PLWP Open Writing Marathon, held on April 11, brought teachers and community members together to write in colorful spots in Saint Joseph such as the Saint Joseph Visitors Center, Pronto Cafe, Ashland Cemetery, Boudreaux's, and the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.  Here are some of their writings from the marathon.
